Hip-Hop Album Sales Report: Kanye, Luda, E-40
Kanye West took the number one spot, selling 443,559 copies of 808s and Heartbreak on his first week. This number is close to what Kanye's previous album, Graduation, did on its release day. Graduation had 957,000 sales on its first week.
Ludacris had a great start as well as Theater Of The Mind enters at #5 with 212,551 sales.
Last week's number one, Beyonce, sold 257,377, a total of 740,554.
At #16, T.I. is still experiencing solid numbers (74,792), on his way to double platinum (currently 1,303,834.)
Bay area's favorite E-40 moved 30,000 units of Ball Street Journal.
